Backlogs
Work that is not done straight away. It is picked up when the unit comes in for a service or a breakdown: tick it when you create that work order.

PM forecast
| Unit | Next service | Hours now | Due at | Hours left | Hours per day | Predicted date | Engine oil L/hr | Change | Oil needed | Advice |
|---|
Hours per day comes from the engine-hours readings in the oil log (last 60 days). Engine oil L/hr is litres added divided by hours run, last 30 days; Change compares it with the 30 days before. A rise of 30% or more suggests wear or leaks, so the advice is to bring the PM forward. Oil needed = L/hr x hours left to the service. Log the engine hours with every oil entry, at least two readings a day apart per unit.

Breakdowns
A breakdown is a Corrective work order: recording one creates the work order, so the two are always linked. Click Back in service when the machine runs again. Use Assign / times to correct the stop, start or restore time.
| Work order | Unit | Stopped at | Cause | Description | Assigned to | Status | Waited | Repair time | Downtime |
|---|
PM plans
Every machine has its own services and intervals, counted in running hours or in days. When a PM work order is closed, the hours at service are recorded and the next service is worked out for you.
